High quality ingredients in this chicken feed

This is really high quality chicken feed. I love seeing grains, real ingredients and of course no soy or GMOs. I didn't look closely and accidentally ordered a size down, I think it's new. The bigger the better, so I'll be more careful next time. The only change I'd like to see is something to prevent the chicks from throwing away the "powdered" parts of the mix, but I don't know how that would be accomplished.

Our chickens love this food!

We were first time chicken keepers and couldn't think of a good corn and soy free chicken feed option until we discovered Scratch and Peck. When I first opened the package I was amazed at how good and wholesome the food smelled and how beautiful the grains and seeds were. This is food, not an industrial product. Our flock is free range most of the time and the easiest way to get them back into the stall is to go in with a spoonful of this feed, shake them and call. They love to eat right out of

. it is overpriced and always a lot of waste with producer and layer feed

I would give it 5 stars but it is overpriced and always a lot of waste with producer and layer feed. Because my chickens leave about half of them wasted. They eat what they like and leave the rest (half) untouched. They love wheat and barley. I think they hate dried peas and all that "flour" (powdery stuff). So this amount of waste makes them impractical. It might be better to ferment with these formulas, but I haven't looked into it yet. - * Starter (for chickens) is not that wasteful.

Highly recommended. - Food

Chickens love it! They're so spoiled they twist their beaks out of kitchen scraps and even some other organic scraper for it. They will come even if I refill their feeder even if it is not empty as they seem to prefer certain things in the feeder. They have been fed this brand from day one and they are all healthy and growing very large. Now they are 3 months old. In addition, the order comes in a few days every time, which is very convenient. And the packaging is now a nice thick paper double…

My flock of 90+ chicks didn't like this feed very much :-(

I was very happy to be able to provide my flock of 90+ chicks with the highest quality feed This feed looked great and some of the reviews were also very uplifting. Unfortunately, my whole herd didn't like this food very much. c.well. it never happened, it costs almost $40 for garbage. Smell was sufficient for me, ie I think it was a fresh one and rich beautiful organic smell. I don't know what went wrong. My herd ranges in age from a week to 1.5-2 years old. Breeds are pretty much anything you

The best for my chickens!

My chicks are in their teens now but I switched from local TSC organic starter chicks to this one shortly after realizing there was soy in the feed and they were wasting a lot of it. I don't mind soy, but I wouldn't want corn either (at least not until it's cold). Now they are in the food growing stage as well as a breeder from 9 weeks of age. They get grazing and plenty of sunlight, as well as a variety of herbs, plants, fruits, vegetables, HF and mealworms, probiotics, and…
