Cleans cast iron without destroying the spices
Ideal for cleaning hardened cast iron, this scrubber removes dirt without damaging the hardened surface. They work hard to keep the surface weathered and this is the right tool to help. I don't use soap in my cast iron as it destroys the patina. This small handful of mail and a little hot water will quickly finish off any leftover food. Dry (by hand or in the oven/stove), brush with oil and bake, occasionally renew the surface if necessary, done. The same rules apply to carbon steel and other aged woks. Recommended!
