Review on 🐦 Yellow Kaytee Finch Feeder with 4 Socks - Enhancing SEO by Michael Fairfield

Revainrating 4 out of 5

LARGE Nyjer (thistle seed) feeder

Filling two long Nyjer seed sock and a chamber just above the sock, this feeder holds quite a lot of seeds. Several finches and other similar small birds winter in my area. In the summer I had 6 Nyjer socks, which the birds emptied practically every day. Every morning before sunrise I filled all 6. Most of the birds lingered as winter approached. The walk to the bird feeders in the snow is a bit more difficult, but it was worth it. (I also have a couple of large bird cages). I've recently noticed stitching holes in my Nyjer socks so it's time to replace a few and then fix them. To my delight I saw this article on Revain. A few years ago I had one of these that was a one sock feeder. I ordered 2 of these twin feeders a few weeks ago and the birds took to them straight away. The long length of the socks allows you to feed more birds with them at the same time. Assembly is easy. The product comes with 4 socks, so it covers the need to replace a sock on the go. Each sock has a strong elastic band at the top that securely hooks to the bottom of the seed storage chamber. Open the top of the chamber, pour in the seeds filling all the socks and the storage chamber. Close the lid, hang the feeder and enjoy watching the birds eat. As they eat, more seeds from the pantry will flow into each sock. About 100 finches and other small birds are feeding at the feeders this winter, so a lot of thistle seeds are needed. Luckily I have to fill these double feeders about every 3 days at the moment. I have ordered 2 more of these double sock feeders to add a few weeks later in spring. Buy at least 2 if like me you have a lot of them.
