Review on MEIRUBY Rechargeable USB Lighter - Electric Lighter for Candle, Camping, BBQ in Rose Gold - Arc Lighters by Beny Teller

So I received this lighter today and it was partially charged. I had to try it right away, so I lit my 24-year-old daughter's three-wick candle. Both she and my 19 year old said, "Oh! My ears!" Before they could say it, I noticed that both dogs were looking at me with their heads down and the little one rushed out of the room, tail between her legs! I didn't hear anything, so I was confused. The kids said it sounded like one of those whistling sounds that only dogs and teenagers can hear. I'm 45 for the record. I pushed the button next to my ear in a quiet room to try to hear it and heard nothing but silence. My 19 year old son said it was like tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and at least then I could figure out what they were hearing So this is fall If you have a dog, cat, child, teenager or young adult they will fear it or hate it. I'm not sure if it's just THIS particular brand or model of electric rechargeable arc/plasma lighter making this noise or if it's all lighters of this type, but if there are silent or silent I will I'll probably replace this sooner rather than later. Other than that, I really like this little gadget and will continue to use it! I hope my kids and dogs don't hate me for this and blame me! LOL Gone are the days of burnt fingers from hot candle lighters, black soot on the back and butt of my hands and knuckles from the candle jar, and never being able to find a lighter when you needed it. :)
