Review on 🔧 RegulatorFix Window Regulator Repair Clips- Front Left Pair for VW Passat B5, B5.5, B6, B7 - Driver Side by Brian Thuo

These clips save you a lot of money when repairing window regulators. They seem to be made out of high quality plastic and the price couldn't be better. I'm giving a 4 star rating because I had to modify them to make them work with my 99 Passat B5. I had to drill a hole one size larger for the nut, which wasn't easy given the small size of these clamps. For this I used a Dremel rotary tool. The slots into which the metal clips are inserted are also a bit smaller than they should be. Be careful when installing these clips as they can easily break. I used olive oil to lubricate the slots, thinking the lube would make it easier for the clips to slide out later. At some point the oil has to dry. Once the clamps could slide part of the way, I used a hammer to pry them all the way. All in all these clips saved me a lot of money but the additional time to install compared to the usual repair time was about 2 hours. Hours with made mods.
