Review on ๐Ÿšช Enhanced Accessibility Handrail for 5th Wheel RVs, Travel Trailers, and Motorhomes - Lippert Solid Step Entry Assist by Tommy Abreu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Too bad we didn't buy it sooner!

We bought our 2021 Apex Ultra-Lite 293RLDS TT (travel trailer) last year and as the first and only owners we haven't had the opportunity to make many upgrades/modifications. This is the first accessory I wanted to add but postponed due to cost. God I was a fool. The variety of campsites we have taken our TT to meant that the steps were widened almost to the max and we even had to add a stool on the last step for extra stability. My mom could have REALLY benefited from this handrail last year. And when I finally tried to order it, Lippert was out of stock on their website, so I bought it here at Revain. This is seriously, this is one of the best updates we've made to the TT. I love that you don't have to remove the handrails when you remove the steps. This is such a great feature. My next investment will be an assisted lift so Mom can climb and climb the steps herself, but that's a whole other review. As for the installation, since I bought the product online and I'm too lazy. To install them myself I followed the steps in the original box to the dealer and for about $110 they did the install. I have an extended warranty on my TT which requires everything to be professionally installed. I didn't mind paying for work, but I just keep the economy running. The summary is here. If you have someone who needs a little extra help getting in and out of the camper/TT, this handrail will do the job just fine. It's an easy fix, and if you're smart enough to install it yourself, it's not that expensive for peace of mind.
