Advertisement says 400m viewing distance but packaging says 60m at night and 400m during the day. When buying night vision goggles, who cares about daylight visibility? The field of view is very narrow. The focus has to be constantly adjusted every few meters from near to far. IR brightness is too bright on close objects even when viewed from a distance. In other words, it works great in one spot, but not so well when panned left to right or from close to far. The night vision range at max IR #7 (1 watt) is about 60m but I thought it was rated at 400m.
