I was building a brand new system and wanted to take advantage of USB 3.0 that my previous system didn't have. Since I have multiple 3.0 enabled devices, a hub seemed like the only way out. Since the day this item appeared, it has been running at 2.0 speed. I used HD Tune Pro to test my portable hard drives. I tested every drive plugged directly into a hub (connected to a USB 3.0 port on my motherboard with the cable provided by iDsonix), I tested every drive plugged directly into a USB 3.0 port on my motherboard (same port used by the hub). ), and I've tested every drive plugged directly into the USB 2.0 port on the motherboard. A drive connected directly to a 3.0 port on the motherboard offers 3.0 speed (100 to 300 MB/s), the speed when connected to a hub is almost the same as when connected directly to a USB 2.0 port (30 MB/s s). The item does not work. as described.
