Single issues are good for network products

Edit 3/7/2017. I had to edit this review because people just need to know what you can get. However, when it works, it works well. Speed is okay as long as you don't throw USB 2.0 items on the bus, but that's standard. This item never left my desk, but I had many problems with the device running 24/7. In most cases, the ports are simply disabled and unable to connect. Most of the time I can unplug the power adapter and plug it back in after a while. Sometimes I also need to unplug the USB 3.0…

Best USB 3.0 hub - and I have five of them

I like everything about this hub so far. I like that it has ten USB ports that are easily accessible. I like its size: it's no bigger than it should be for ten ports, but it sits on my desk and doesn't wobble or slide like some hubs. Perhaps my favorite is that the nine top-access ports are arranged in three sets, each with an on/off switch. This almost solves a long-standing problem for this Mac user: Apple's USB 3 implementation on my Mac mini (and many other Macs) is shaky, and there have…

My Honest Review of the Hubs

What I liked about this product: It's great to have extra ports on my desk as I've recently switched to a micro PC. As I own several tech products, a 2.5 amp outlet is a bonus. What I didn't like about this product: No strong dislikes. What I think could be done to improve this product: It would be great to have multiple suspension/mounting/mounting options for the device. And while you can seal it or get creative, it's just a regular box. Was it a paid/exchange/enforced review? No, I am not…

Works as hoped, good for hubs

I have MBox, iPod, WD My Passport, Kindle and other USB devices. I like to turn off My Passport when I'm not using it, my MBox won't connect until I've fully started Windows 8.1, and if I have an iPod plugged in and take new photos or videos, they won't be available until I become me reconnect it. This center will do it all for me. The power port is also great for charging an iPod when the computer is off, which I find great. And providing 10 ports working for 3.0 and 2.0 makes it easy to…

This invention is a nightmare! constantly off! .

This device is a nightmare! constantly off! One day I didn't understand the problem and was so angry that I lost my external HD connected to it. I spent some time checking what was wrong with my HD, and then when I plugged it directly into a different USB port on my PC, it worked. I found out that the problem came from this device. Finally HUB died completely today!

Great.for USB 2.0 best in Computers & Accessories

I was building a brand new system and wanted to take advantage of USB 3.0 that my previous system didn't have. Since I have multiple 3.0 enabled devices, a hub seemed like the only way out. Since the day this item appeared, it has been running at 2.0 speed. I used HD Tune Pro to test my portable hard drives. I tested every drive plugged directly into a hub (connected to a USB 3.0 port on my motherboard with the cable provided by iDsonix), I tested every drive plugged directly into a USB 3.0…

Worked 30 days and died immediately after the return window closed.

Worked for a month and stopped working immediately after the 30 day return window closed. Even though it is connected to the power cord, it can no longer detect my 2 external USB hard drives and Windows 10 reports a USB hub error in Device Manager. At first I thought my drives were dead, but when I went back to my old $4.99 non-powered USB hub, everything works fine now. And tried everything, disconnected, reconnected, device manager removed/updated the driver to reinstall windows and windows…
