Single issues are good for network products

Edit 3/7/2017. I had to edit this review because people just need to know what you can get. However, when it works, it works well. Speed is okay as long as you don't throw USB 2.0 items on the bus, but that's standard. This item never left my desk, but I had many problems with the device running 24/7. In most cases, the ports are simply disabled and unable to connect. Most of the time I can unplug the power adapter and plug it back in after a while. Sometimes I also need to unplug the USB 3.0 cable. Sometimes a group or maybe two just switch off. Turn the button off and on again and MAYBE it works, most of the time it doesn't. I have contacted this manufacturer regarding this before and received absolutely no response. As long as people buy their stuff, they don't care. You never answered at all. I couldn't even remember how I first contacted her, so I checked; then I remembered. These people are nowhere to be found. At least try to find their website. I stopped grooming when I remembered this, but I will definitely never buy their stuff again. Cool idea, but the function always comes first for me and doesn't always work. Original Post ----------------------- ----------------------- This thing is Cold. Who doesn't need a USB 3.0 hub with so many ports? Each of the top ports has a button that allows you to passively turn off power to the port. That way you can remove something without increasing the amperage at the connector. This simply reduces the voltage on the plug, allowing it to be pulled straight out. Now you can do the same through modern windows, which also disables the juice. If you're in the hot-swap drives and peripherals business, this can be a big deal for you. I've seen strange anomalies in a blue moon every time. I plug in one of my flash drives, an external hard drive. No light, Windows does not recognize it. I've turned the entire hub off and on again, everything is fine. I haven't narrowed it down to a specific port or device. Strongly random. I loaded this hub up pretty well, however, with a couple of external drives, a UPS port, headphones, a front phone charging cable and who knows what else. I've only seen the above edition 4-5 times, but I got one star for it.
