Super easy for the complete beginner

I read all the negative reviews and still went for this conical shape. I just bought one to minimize my losses in case they don't work out and have my fingers crossed. I have never made cones or used a candle mold before using this one. I haven't had any problems with dripping wax. After my candle had cooled for a few hours, I put it in the freezer for 30 minutes to shrink a bit and the candle popped out of the mold slightly. I used a straight needle through the wick at each end to keep it taut and centered while the wax cools and hardens. I liked my candle so much I ordered six more molds to make enough for my candlestick. I bought beeswax cones from an Amazon seller and they were too small in diameter for my candelabra and all my candle holders. The size of the cone that results from this shape fits every candle holder I have, so the size is pretty standard. I am very satisfied with this conical shape and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
