Ok let me try to explain my experience with this shot. To give an idea of what I thought about this product. And to answer the questions I had before purchasing this item. My car is a 2008 Civic Si and prior to this intake system I had a "Y" intake on my car. The "Y" inlet is basically an installed cone filter. MAF and such. I didn't have a Y inlet dyno, but I made it to the track. With DC sport manifold, Y-inlet, Stg 2 coupling and 12 lb flywheel. I ran 14.335 at 98.7 mph with 2.209 60 feet. I was able to run this exact time constantly several times. Now let's get to that input. It took me 15 minutes to install, but I knew what I was doing and was halfway there. with Y-shaped air inlet. I installed it behind the driver's side headlight to draw in cooler air (27 degrees cooler, according to the temp gauge). I didn't need any more details or anything like that. I just had to drop the battery onto the frame. (You can google it) Now. I just got back from the track and it's 8 degrees hotter in Houston today than it was the last time I drove. And I did 14,223 @ 99.4 mph at 2,060 feet and the only new thing that was done to my car was this air intake. I scored almost a tenth of a second and almost 1 hour an hour. I'm not sure if it's really just the rope, but it's definitely the fastest time I've been able to achieve. And I was very close 2 times in a row and 14.302 @ 99.1. If you don't have a 3.5" air intake, I honestly think this is the best civilian air intake for your buck.
