Strange review in that this Allen key has only been used to adjust the belt tension on my treadmill so far. Yes, it can be used as a normal tool, but I have a special need. A regular hex wrench (those L-shaped tools we all use) has a "long" end that's too long to tighten. This is because the long end falls to the floor when tightened. I need leverage with my long arm outstretched, but I can't do continuous spins. Since I count full turns during the clamping process, this is cumbersome. If I insert a longer lever into the pull bolt, I don't have enough leverage to create the perfect tension. So this is my perfect tool to adjust my treadmill. And of course it's an affordable 8mm allen key when I need it. But I already have dozens of keys, but the form factor helps. And its construction is excellent and I expect this tool will outlive the treadmill.
