The PlayStation 3 is my very own. After much deliberation, I've chosen to get a PlayStation 4. For 20,000, I bought a share. The console clearly felt let down. As I mentioned up above, the visuals on the various platforms are below average. Watc dog 2 status checked. A PC and console version were released. The PS4's default graphics settings are comparable to those of a typical PC. With an ancient, mediocre by today's standards X4 760K, Radeon 7770 2 GB, and 8 GB of DDR3, you should be able to play all current multiplatform games at the same frame rate (FPS) with the same graphics settings as the PS4 or possibly slightly higher. There will only be free toys. The media player was a big letdown. Many files that started and played without a peep on PS3 either failed to start at all on this system or displayed no image or sound and offered no audio track selection. Reading MKV files is a definite plus. Unfortunately, it still can't read NTFS-formatted flash devices, so say goodbye to data larger than 4 GB. Those games are very pricey! Of course, this wasn't breaking news even before you invested in a system, but even at a discount, video games may set you back between $1.2 and $1.5. Even if the visuals will be below par, I do not see the appeal. The bulk of PS3 titles are available at prices between $300 and $600. Give 600. not a shame, despite the game's lackluster visuals and dated release date. Maybe the only benefit is access to unique content. In sum - before purchasing this console, careful consideration should be given to all of the pros and disadvantages. Think this over and consider both benefits and drawbacks. Consider the financial prospects as you assess yours. Even with price cuts and secondhand discs becoming readily available, Powerful exclusives are currently the only justification for purchasing a PlayStation 4. After purchasing a PS4, I expected it to serve as my primary media hub and that my PS3 would be retired. For me personally, the GT's absence of a dedicated license plate slot is a major detractor. which I really like. Yet another argument against moving PS3s
