It was actually a good buy for me.

I use these to make instant oatmeal. Much cheaper than buying individual mugs at $1 each. I buy oatmeal in bulk and microwave it at work and voila! One time breakfast but much safer for the environment. I also use it for ramen noodles, but I'd like a deeper cup for that.
