Review on Upgrade Your Dyson DC07 with 4YourHome's Pre & Post Motor Hepa Filter Kit by Laura Pena

I recently needed a clutch replacement on my girlfriend's 10 year old Dyson DC07 and after that I thought it was time to check/clean the filters. She regularly washed and cleaned the blue foam element as instructed, but the cloth portion of the yellow filter was dirty and the HEPA filter had expired. I know Dyson says it's a HEPA filter for life, which might be true - if you're a fruit fly - but trust me, after 10 years of vacuuming after 3 dogs, your HEPA filter has the filtering power of a hockey puck. I ordered this filter set and they fit perfectly...nice and cozy. I swear the vacuum even breathed a sigh of relief when I installed them. FYI: The gasket that attaches to the bottom of the HEPA filter must be purchased separately - this kit is not included. By the way, I was so enthusiastic about the maintenance of the vacuum cleaner that I disassembled the whole vacuum cleaner and removed the dust that had stuck to the Cyclone Vortex Time Travel Generator for years, and the vacuum cleaner cleans like new. I felt like I was working on a space shuttle. I guess I'm something like Dyson astronaut now. You owe it to yourself and your vacuum to replace these filters, and your vacuum will thank you!
