I'm no newbie to cross stitch, but make-up kits were a first for me. I still had decorations to make and these sets looked like tickets. I'm not wrong! I am in love with all of these adorable decorations and can't wait to give them as gifts this Christmas. I bought almost everything Dimensions makes in one box. The price seems reasonable for everything you need to complete the decoration. Working with Plastic Aida, I think you would call it that, was great. No framing or framing is required, so projects can be completed fairly quickly. This particular job took me 3 days. The gingerbread cost me 4. The sled was 4 too. There are 4 left but with a 3-4 day cycle I can make it by Christmas. I think they would be really good for beginners, not too many transitions and literally everything you need is included.
