That was my first record. Based on a few videos I watched, I expected it to be a little more starchy without heating. Heating allows you to stretch it anywhere. A heat gun is a must. The videos I've seen said try not to overheat it when you don't need it and "cold stretch" when possible to avoid adhesion issues. I recommend wearing gloves so your fingers don't ruin the glue. That being said, I've found knifeless vinyl tape to be essential, especially for new paint. Be patient, watch some videos from professionals on YouTube. There's a spot in the corner of my bumper that worries me a little because I've only gotten it in there with a lot of heat, so far it's looking good so we'll see in time. Overall a good product. I used some scraps to make a cool little movie on my laptop and it looks amazing too.
