I use it as the 3rd point of contact in my medium sized kennel. Twice a month I take my two ducks to the vet out of town. This helps protect the kennel in the event of an accident. My seat belt wasn't enough to get around the kennel. This would be a great tool for keeping a feral dog in the back seat during car rides. You can also use it from the front to prevent the dog from jumping out the window. It was perfect for my mom's seat belt. I had to make an adapter for my old Ford Explorer. I used a different clamp on it. Well made and affordable product. Mine even came with a collapsible water bowl! It works great too!
