The choice I had was between these headphones, Airpods Pro, Nothing Ear 1 and a bunch of other headphones from well-known companies that I shoveled while I was studying the purchase. The plugs turned out to be too expensive for me (they cost 25k on the official website, but I didn’t want to take them in the left stores, because they are now faked in such a way that even on the Apple website it breaks through), Nothing Ear 1 is not officially sold in 2022, and the rest of the headphones were not satisfied with for their own reasons (size, convenience, price, etc.), so the choice fell on Beats. So, about the sound. After the first listening, I was at a loss: there are no basses, the highs stick out so that it becomes unpleasant on hi-hats. I thought how is it so, where are the very old beats, from which the cheeks were shaking from the amount of low frequencies? On tracks with an abundance of classical instruments, they sound great, but for some reason my favorite hip-hop does not breathe. I was very upset at first, I began to look at how I could return it. After that, I left the headphones for about three hours with the music turned on and voila: the sound opened up, the low frequencies began to sound more natural, the unpleasant high frequencies disappeared, in the tracks I began to hear sounds that I could not hear on my old Senkhs before. Then it went and went, re-listened to the songs that I had listened to every day before, not to say that I was very surprised, but all the same, listening to music became much more pleasant. However! Despite this, I still lack bass, although I additionally added them a little with an equalizer (it doesn’t work anymore, low ones start to choke). So it turns out that on the former Beats By Dre it is now very pleasant to listen to pop music, classical, indie (guitars and vocals sound amazing), something in between, and not Dr. Dre, along with his peers, which saddens me a little. Bottom line: considering all the pros and cons, I put a solid rating of 4.
