Very good kettle, best in the kitchen and dining room
I have a loud whistle. The glass top has a stainless steel ring around the edge, making it very difficult to break. The bottom is thin, but does that matter with a kettle? Another reviewer said it was difficult to fill, but I can't figure out why - there's plenty of room for a faucet. It looks great, but you'll definitely need to use a heating pad or glove to lift it off the stove. Wow just noticed the price is now $49 - I paid $23 2 weeks ago which is about right - I would never have bought it for $49!
