I give the product 5 stars for the end result. The instructions, at least for the RAM 1500, leave a lot to be desired. TIP: To avoid major disappointment, do not attempt to install this as soon as you receive it. Instead, set the threading tool to the 3/4" spacing specified in the instructions, then remove the bushing from the screw and apply a few lines of blue threadlocker to the screw. Leave it for 24 hours. If you If you don't do this, as you tighten the tool you'll see that the nut only rotates and doesn't stretch to hold it in. I can't stress this enough - without doing this step, be prepared to be hyper-annoyed They were amazing. I told them about the problem and they sent me a new cutting kit free of charge. I received a new kit within 3 days. Excellent customer service. Took about 30 minutes to install, very happy with the end result, the tailgate now opens very smoothly which is exactly what I wanted.Now I don't have to worry about my kids getting broken or hurt trying to open the back door n. For the price, I'm very happy with the end result.
