Review on 🧡 Artilife Embroidery Kit: Funny Sassy Cross Stitch for Adult Beginners & Kids with Patterns, Hoops, Floss, Thread, and Needles by Nicole Mcleod

For beginners (read this)

I had a lot of fun doing it. I embroidered for the first time. It's easier than you expect! Step-by-step instructions are unlikely. BUT enough information is given for you to easily understand (YouTube and online for learning stitches). Things I changed from what was posted: I bought a wooden hoop instead of a plastic frame to add a finished look after sewing. Also, the light green that was sent is more brown (it's ugly) and I replaced it with the light green I had on hand. There may be a color missing that I have a new thread for (one of the flower colors). Things I would like to know and/or google: at the end RINSE/RINSE IT (see how) - the blue pattern disappears! I was worried about covering the pattern all the time, but it's not necessary! It doesn't seem to matter what order you do the colors in, to be honest. The end product is better than every little sheet you think you've ruined. Watch how to finish it (cut and sew the excess fabric). All in all, it seems intimidating at first and I'm procrastinating starting it, but it's hard to really screw up. This started my obsession with embroidery (there are several now). It's relaxing and satisfying. I like it much more than cross stitch. Buy it, try it, change what you want to make it yours and google it.

Cons
