I have owned 2 leash reactive dogs. We have always used a harness and a regular short leash clipped to the front for control. My husband and I are strong, but our 75lb dog is stronger when he sees a squirrel. While we haven’t lost control of him yet, I decided to be proactive and get this leash.We use this leash in addition to his regular short leash clipped to the front. We clip this to the back hook on his harness and I hold the short leash like normal.The buckle on this is so secure. I love that it locks. I feel so much safer and so much more in control when using this.I also love that this comes with a bag to hold your items. It’s perfect.
