My 50lb dog has a long stride and tends to lead, so I have to watch not to step on her heels at times. This is easy to use and our dog does great on walks with it. My only complaint is the zipper pouch. It moves around and flips upside down and makes putting the belt on SUPER difficult. I know I can’t take it off, but I want something to store treat, poop bags and my phone in while walking. The handles on the leash allow me to shorten or lengthen her distance from me on a walk and that part is great.

I got tired of keeping my hound on a leash that she would randomly pull me so hard it would hurt my arm, so I made the switch to this and I am so happy I did. I have owned 2 leash reactive dogs. We have always used a harness and a regular short leash clipped to the front for control. My husband and I are strong, but our 75lb dog is stronger when he sees a squirrel. A great transition from my pack running. The extra stretch helped my labradoodle run and explore, while I also maintain my pace. The option for the pack to be removed is a huge plus in my opinion. Very comfortable for both of us. Used with w gentle lead for long distance running.
