Review on Bosch Blaze Pro GLM165-40 Laser Distance Measure with 165ft Range and Color Backlit Display by Mike Anderson

Bought from Bosch for accuracy after reading negative reviews on some other brands of laser range finders. In this regard, the tool lived up to expectations. But I probably bought a more expensive tool than I need as a regular homeowner. One thing I didn't realize before buying it was how small this tool is. It's good for portability and storage, but it's actually so small that handling it while in use can be more difficult than expected (and I don't have very big hands). A related issue is that pressing the button to measure moves the small and light device, aiming the laser at an unexpected target. So I measure everything twice, which I have to do anyway. The information on the screen is readable but not bright (e.g. faded compared to a smartphone). Overall, there's nothing wrong with this tool, but I could probably get everything I need in a cheaper, easier-to-use device. What can I say, this is a quality tool.
