The previous set of Sodastream bottles I had were so good I kept them 3 years past their expiration date kept. When my husband finally convinced me to replace them as they were dangerous to keep, I settled on this set. What mistake. Lids don't close well. The water stops bubbling immediately if I don't make an effort to swirl it hard enough, and even if I do, the fizz doesn't last as long. I can only surmise that Sodastream found a way to make less efficient bottles for less money. Money. upset.
