I took a chance as I couldn't tell if the 72 ounce jar containing my Ninja blender would fit the lid. There seems to be a slight difference between the NJ600 jar lid and this one. There is a 1/16" hard plastic flange on the outside of the bottom rim that prevents it from entering the can. Rather than return it I decided to use a Dremel tool with a sanding attachment to sand the flange all the way down. It now fits well in my blender jar, although the grind marks aren't very nice.
