Review on ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Glastar Glass Eye Shield Support: Optimal Protection for Precision Work by Michelle Langley

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Easy to install, easy to use, works well, doesn't bother

Easy to install with the screws that come with the glass mill. There is no special thread on the top plate of the grinder, so you have to be careful not to over-tighten it. However, the support seems very solid when installed. Does not include a glass or plastic shade, so you must either order it separately or make it yourself (work in minutes). The screen is simply held in place by two rubber washers on the top of the mount and under the bar on the back, making the screen itself very easy to install and remove. However, the screen support can only be removed by unscrewing it (minus 1 star), and you shouldn't do that too often. as this can damage the threads on the top plate of the grinder. If this happens, you can simply move the shield to the nearest holes in the grinder's top plate and reattach it. It will be a bit off center but it will still work fine. I would recommend leaving the goggle mount in place after use unless your storage space is limited vertically. It will be a bit off center but it will still work fine.
