disappointing start
I've bought similar ring clips with knurled screws and know that you have to be careful with the first few turns to get the tongue past the knurled screw. What I didn't expect was that the plastic part of these screws would be so brittle. two were broken in the package. Two more broke while I was tightening them. The straps and mechanism appear to be of good quality but once the plastic thumbscrew is broken they are less useful than a regular hex head strap clamp as the head is square. this requires the use of pliers to put it on or take it off. would not buy again
