I loved this heater so much after buying the first one for my 3.7 gallon Imagitarium I bought another one for my 2.5 gallon Tank. This is a short heater so it fits perfectly. I recommend installing this in your tank before adding any fish or shrimp as it may take a day or two to reach the desired temperature. It has no time settings, only + and - on the dial. It has a neon light that lights up when the heater is heating up so it will hold the temperature. Please note that with this heater, the tank temperature depends on the room temperature in the small tank. I noticed that on cold days the temperature in the room was around 67°C, the temperature in the aquarium was 72°C, but on a couple of warm, sunny days when the room got warmer, the temperature in the aquarium rose to 76°C , so I'm not sure what's wrong. the dial does. My guess is that it doesn't work as a temperature selector heater. I like it. I check the temperatures in the tanks daily and I'm pretty sure that when it gets warmer outside I'll have to turn the heating down.
