I would give the drive(s) 5 stars except 1 of 2 drives failed and not easy to decipher. That aside, I'm generally very happy with the performance and ease of installation - well, on one of the computers I had to disassemble the entire computer to get to the hard drive. No problem with the hard drive - only with the computer. One of the two drives is installed and working as advertised. Other. Spring. not as much. I installed the 2nd CD - worked great, long enough to transfer everything from the old machine and recycle the old computer. The computer then wouldn't boot and went to Windows 10 System Restore which also failed. None of the bootrec recovery tricks worked either. Did you run the onboard diagnostics and the report came back clean? Wow?! I repartitioned the hard drive, reinstalled Windows and restored the system to pre-crash state (after 4 hours). left it on the bench for a few days to make sure it didn't fail. Checked. All is well. handed over to the end user. Two days later the record was submitted again for download! Tried bootrec recovery tricks which failed again. I ran the onboard diagnostics, this time the DST check failed. Contacted HP - I had a replacement drive the next day AFTER HP finally responded; two days after creating the ticket. I don't count (Saturday and Sunday). When I received the replacement drive, it didn't come with recovery media, which I had to request separately; then a kick in the teeth - next day delivery for warranty parts - it's hardware only. I have to wait 3 to 5 days for media recovery. I am very dissatisfied with this part. So the drive failed twice; Received replacement hardware after 4 days, now I have to wait two more days (today is the third day out of 3-5 days) for media recovery. This is the part that really rubs my butt.
