Threw away the included hardware and used regular screws
Love this stand. This is good because you can set three different widths, for example to accommodate a shorter penny board, then one for a regular board and another for a long board. The hardware that came with mine sucked, I used regular drywall screws straight into the wall and it holds up perfectly and firmly to the wall. The included hardware left a small gap and dangled from the wall.
