If like me you're on a tight budget you might want to take a chance as competing models I've found cost twice or more. Installation was very similar to the more expensive model I installed. We just finished a trip where we used it for 10 hours with no battery issues. Audio quality for the intercom is poor - very lo-fi but understandable. I haven't tried calling yet. My bike doesn't have a windshield and we found that in winds of around 60mph with helmets fully closed, the intercom was unreadable, although I didn't hear any wind noise in my helmet. I'm getting a windshield, that should help. I was under the impression that there was no attempt at noise cancellation in the design. The Bluetooth intercom sometimes disconnects - possibly timed out due to inactivity - and we have to reconnect, but that wasn't the problem. Both microphones broke on our first ride. I'm not sure if we hit them or what, but the plastic cases snapped into place fairly easily and they continued to function. I super taped them up when I got home and tucked them behind a pillow in my helmet to protect them. The seller called me after I first posted this review so good customer service but of course I had no idea how to connect the new mics and they broke like the old ones and had the same sound quality. Generally adequate but not excellent.
