So I didn’t get this for mail. I got this to be a drop box for cash from a local auction group I’m active in. I sell things and people pick them up. I don’t like having multiple people pick up and not being home because someone could easily rob me. I wall mounted this in view of my blink camera so I can see the box. It feels very sturdy made. It was fairly easy to mount but the anchors it came with were garbage. It says to use a 3/16” drill bit to drill the holes but that was so small it wasn’t even close. So I grabbed a 5/16” and it was better. I hammered the anchors in and they bent like crazy. Other than that the box was easy to hang. I like that the inside has the theft prevention things. You can’t reach down inside of it to grab whatever’s in there. Especially cash lol. I tried. It would be too small for regular mail. I tried to put a few regular sized pieces of mail in it but it was a tight fit. I also put my iPhone 13 pro max in there and it fit good. So I wouldn’t recommend for mail but it would be a good cash collection box or even keys. They keys it came with worked beautifully. Open and close seamlessly. It also looks pretty nice with my siding. It’s an off white color just like my siding. It came with a template for hanging which was nice. Mine came out a little crooked but that’s my own fault lol. It looks nice and I like it.
