I bought this to use as a seal on the edge of a pickup tailgate and a tonneau cover as a rain water barrier. The rubber strip arrived and was installed the next day with an ambient temperature of 75 degrees. The rubber adhesive would not stick firmly to the plastic bedliner on the tailgate. I tried pressing, wacking and using rolling pin. The adhesive was simply way weaker than similar products and when compressed against the tonneau cover it moved out of alignment. After a 2 hour compression period after installation - the rubber strip pretty much fell off when the tailgate was opened. I thought the pressure would make the adhesive seal/stick better. The opposite occurred. I would not recommend this product in any dynamic environment. Into the trash it went.
