I contacted their customer service regarding this deceptive practice, they don't believe there is an issue with sending you a different product than what you paid for. I use this seal on top of an original rear seal for a Jeep Wrangler. I used it on top because it wasn't thick enough to replace the original one. Well I didn't place this on to the other rubber I cleaned off the surface of the painted door and went to apply it there.The adhesive wasn't as tacky as many other adhesives have been and therefore I'm giving it a low rating because it causes a lot of inconvenience when attempting to install.Use a better adhesive you'll have a great product.

Description says this has 3M adhesive tape. This is NOT 3M adhesive. 3M is a copy right product because it works great. This wouldnt stick to anything. I was scepticle because usually 3M Adhesives carry the 3M logo on the red backing. This has no logo. Just because its red doesnt mean its 3m. Dont buy. Its useless. The best and worst thing about 3m adhesive is once you stick it to something, its not coming off.

Adhesive sucks does not stick even after cleaning surface with alcohol. The adhesive is not actual quality 3M that they state this is falsely advertised.

I bought this to use as a seal on the edge of a pickup tailgate and a tonneau cover as a rain water barrier. The rubber strip arrived and was installed the next day with an ambient temperature of 75 degrees. The rubber adhesive would not stick firmly to the plastic bedliner on the tailgate. I tried pressing, wacking and using rolling pin. The adhesive was simply way weaker than similar products and when compressed against the tonneau cover it moved out of alignment. Hot the product for my wife’s trunk because it was leaking, first think I noticed is it wasn’t 13 feet it’s 9 foot that I got and the "3m” tape is crap won’t stick to anything the tape ain’t even sticky would not even waste your money on getting this product

This is the surface I had to work with as the previous idiot that own my car decided to use bathroom sealant and super glue to hold the seal in place. I tried my best to make a clean surface and was surprised this stuff actually stayed on. I have so much more left Incase I want to redo once warm weather comes around

Cleaned around the door with acetone, peeled back strip, glued seal strip to car door - no more water entering during heavy rain - works great.

I tried to add this weather strip to my van doors. I’m going to have to throw this away. It doesn’t stick. Well made product.

I used it in a diy window a/c install. The joint was not smooth, it had screws and other hardware that made foam weatherstripping not work very well. This seals it perfectly! It sticks well to the side of the wood, but you must remember to press it down securely. It takes a bit more pressure than, say, tape, but it sticks well enough to get squeezed into place. Bought to seal up a wind leak on a truck door. Was very disappointed with the quality of the item. The foam is thin, the adhesive is mediocre at best and does not work well. Look closely at the measurements and realize the images are zoomed in before buying. More proof that you get what you pay for. Back to square one shopping for something of higher quality that will fix the issue.

So I guess I miss read the description, or the lack of one.but these are smaller than the diameter of a dime. Definitely won't seal a car door. (which is why I got this) But hey, you're probably going to use this for something else.

I should have focused on the 1 star reviews. Like my experience, this does not stick at all. The "tape" side is only about 1/4" wide and is of a very poor quality. The rubber material is very soft. Buy a "hatch" tape/ gasket made for boats if you want to spend your money on something that actually does what it is supposed to do.

Was easy to install and it stays put. It comes 3M adhesive and that gave me confidence that it would hold tight. Stopped my wind noise and holds it shape.

Wanted to replace my access hatch on camper. Completely cleaned and removed old adhesive. This is supposed to be self adhesive and the adhesive couldn't hold itself up. Save your money, this is crap!

Some it the weather stripping out there can be too thick and make the doors harder to close, but this one is just perfect Thanks for attention.

If you have used a wax or ceramic on the interior of the door for detailing, this will not stick to it at all. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR LETS SEE HOW LONG IT STICKS FOR.
