As soon as I tried the first piece, I knew this product was an abysmal failure. On a clean, dry surface- It won't stick to glass, metal or plastic, even in warm temperatures or with mild heat. Car trim-forget it.The only use-case, may be on something that is closed on it, like a window sash to hold it in place, because the adhesive definitely doesn't hold it in place.Also, as others have noted, this is not 3m Adhesive, so it is also not as advertised.

The adhesive is not very sticky. They use "3M adhesive” as a way to show that their product has good adhesive properties but it could barely stay put. It would just lift off. I tried to apply it on my tail gate top.
