The Klutz Yarn Art Kit is a great choice for beginners and those who are already fans of this type of craft. With this kit you can create three unique wall hangings that contain almost all the art materials you need in the kit itself. Items not included but required: glue, scissors and tape measure/ruler. The set includes frames, yarn (chenille and acrylic), pompoms, rovings, sequins, beads, felt figures, a plastic needle and cotton thread. Fringes, making chevron patterns, making shapes and how to use all those skills and materials and create something unique for you! The book that comes with it is great! It's very eye-catching as it's in full color, and very easy to follow. The instructions are step-by-step and there are many tips and tricks to help you along the way. All materials are of the highest quality! We have made one of the designs so far and are very happy with how it turned out! It was definitely something we're proud of. We plan to do the last two and then get more materials to use our new ability. This set is perfect for my ten year old daughter and can be used with a younger child with the help of an adult or teen. I feel like the age it's most appropriate for is definitely 10+. The colors and art style that can be created in this set are definitely in the tween/teen range. I don't think the price for the set is bad because you only need a few of your own things to get started. Very happy with this kit. Featured!
