Nonsense! The 3rd or 4th time I used it, the ball popped out of the joint closest to the thumbscrew. I put it back in but it won't stay on. It comes out as soon as you gently squeeze your hand. Very disappointed. I also thought I'd buy an American made product since I'm a Starrett. MADE IN CHINA!
