Be sure to check the switch before installing it.

I received this switch and installed it on my small lathe without testing it first. It just kept tripping the switch, so I spent a lot of time checking all the wiring for shorts. Finally I removed the switch and tested it. It turns out that 2 of the 3 poles never came off or changed direction. I disassembled the switch and indeed the two toggles were stuck in the closed position. Once I released two buttons the switch worked fine but now I don't trust it so I will order another switch from a different manufacturer.
