I can't rate the taste - - haven't tried it myself yet. My old 34 year old TWH seems to like it. He's had bad feet for a while but I've had him on Hoof Guard for a few months now and his feet are noticeably improving. Cracks heal and are not replaced by new ones. The best he's seen in years. . . Because of this obvious improvement, I would recommend it to anyone whose horse suffers from bad hooves. Not cheap but as long as it gets better it's worth it to me!
