Review on Gates AX35 Tri Power Belt by Justin Pavelko
Perfect replacement for the obsolete snow thrower auger belt
This Gates AX35 37" x 1/2" timing belt was the perfect replacement for my 2010 Troy-Bilt 3090XP snow thrower auger drive belt. The original part number 954-04195 has been replaced with 954-04195A which is a 37 x 1/2 inch toothless belt. Replaced belt does not work properly on older blower - worm gear not disengaging due to too much belt debris. Friction (understand, there are no notches) is completely weakened, despite all the adjustments.
