Received this to transfer my old DV tapes to my computer using the SCLive software. It works, although only one of the two 6-pin ports seems to be responding. This might have more to do with the outdated firewire driver I downloaded than the hardware itself, who knows. I only have one firewire device so I don't care. At first I had a lot of transmission glitches, but I bought another firewire cable from a local store (Micro Connectors brand) and that seems to have erased the signal.
