One star for Revain's incredible customer service. The second star is how the monitor was assembled - quality materials. Unfortunately, the quality ended with the materials. Displaying images/graphics is another important issue. First, a quick backstory: I'm switching from a 2011 27-inch iMac back to a full Windows PC. So I decided to try Dell. Big mistake. After this experience I return to building my own computers. I ordered this monitor to pair with a brand new Dell XPS 8700 computer fully loaded with Windows 8.1. I had a number of serious problems with the computer, which I will not discuss. come here. I had a 4GB graphics card which should be enough to deliver amazing quality with this monitor. Unfortunately I only had problems. I didn't have any issues with the glossiness of the screen. Coming from an iMac, I'm very happy with the build quality of the display, but everything else is lacking.1. Serrated. Everything uneven. The text is inconsistent. The corners are uneven. My graphics card is 4GB + monitor. Everything is interfering and using en Cleartype for Windows 8.1 will not fix it.2. Every photo has horribly BAD image artifacts and noise. Whether I visited CNN.com or Reddit.com, each photo was as grainy as possible and color didn't transfer smoothly. It's like having a 640 x 480 display with no drivers installed.3. The least issue I had with the display was its glare. I LOVE the shine. It is wonderful. It's like an iMac display. But unfortunately this shine did NOT contribute to the quality.4. Video on this monitor is displayed very poorly. I couldn't believe how poorly even the screenshots were rendered on sites like YouTube - all super grainy. I have very few of these issues with the iMac display. I really don't understand why everyone in the reviews is raving about this monitor - for the price I paid it's very poor quality. My experience with Dell was the worst I've ever had.
