Great camera but won't connect to Echo Show 5

Bought a camera for my son's room. He has a seizure disorder and I should be able to watch him all the time. I used to have two smaller, cheaper Geenie cameras and they were great, but this time I needed pan/tilt so I bought these. The camera itself works great. Setup is easy. night vision is good. The radio works perfectly. But I bought the camera with the Echo Show 5 so I can watch the stream from it and not my phone. I like to stream constantly at night, which is difficult with my phone. I've gone through all the steps to connect to Alexa multiple times and even followed the steps with the Revain customer service guide. No connection is established. I contacted Mercury and they said they needed to forward the information to their developers and let them take care of it. They said it would take 24-48 hours but after 3 days it still won't connect and I haven't heard from the developers. So I ordered a different brand camera hoping it would connect to Alexa and I'd probably return the Geenie. This is a great camera for the price and I'm a little sad that I can't get it to work.
