Bought a few months ago and the router seems to be keeping up. I use it quite intensively. I have 11 devices connected via wifi and 2 via ethernet. I also have a 2TB hard drive connected to my router which also acts as a DLNA server so I can view my photos and videos directly on my DLNA devices. the transfer to the hard disk is about 1-2 MB/s. Hopefully this will increase after I get the range extender. Update 05/08/2012 --- It's been over 9 months since I installed this route. There were no issues restarting or disconnecting. After some terrible Netgear routers I've used over the years, this one seems solid. Netgear has finally started making solid products. Configuration: 2 cable connections: one to an 8-port Netgear switch, the other to my Vonage. 10 Wireless Connections: Phones, PCs, Macs, Tablets 2TB WD MyBook via USB. The great thing is that this router has a built-in DLNA server for the USB port. The movies, pictures and songs stored on the hard drive can be accessed from any device that supports dlna. ---- Updated on 04/19/2013 ---- Still valid. Had to reboot once in the last 6 months but other than that no other issues. Note. If you use the DLNA function with an attached hard drive to watch videos, only .avi files will be played on your DLNA device. .m4 or .mkv will not play from your hard drive. I wish there was an update from Netgear to support other file formats. ---- Updated 12/4/2013 ---- The router is still working. Haven't had any problems with it yet. Hope it lasts a few more years. Would still like to see DLNA video support for .mkv or .m4 files from Netgear.
