Poor results when scanning book pages

Does not work as advertised. Bought to scan pages in books that would not work on a flatbed scanner. Does not scan completely from field to field and top to bottom, regardless of whether the scanner is used top to bottom, bottom to top, right to left, or left to right. Images are not composited. does not scan materials along the anchor interface. The Instant Result software is very poor and the scanner has to be restarted every time it is used to transfer the image to the computer. Distorts images no matter how gently you move the scanner across the page.
