Error code P0335 and P0336 after installation

Changing the timing belt and water pump I decided to replace the original 15 year old crankshaft position sensor on my 2006 Honda Accord because I didn't think I would have to deal with it again invest . .Maybe a month after installing this Beck-Arnley sensor, my check engine light came on and the car went into limp mode. I used my code reader to see what the problem was and found the two codes listed above. There was no need to think about actual cables as it's unlikely they would fail immediately after installing the sensor, so I suspected the sensor. Installing this sensor is not something that a person who does not have the right tools can do. make. This is quite difficult even with the right tools. Not wanting to waste time with another sensor from a different brand, I bought a genuine Honda sensor. Browsing various Honda parts sites on the internet I found a new OE sensor at a reasonable price considering the cost quoted by my local dealer. .After installing the original Honda sensor, there are no more error codes. However, the sting of wasting time and money remains. While looking for a replacement, I looked up the sensor part number and found that Alibaba was selling this sensor (not necessarily Beck Arnley) for $3 or $4 each, with the stipulation that you buy a minimum quantity. With such a low price, the quality control of these sensors may not be complete. Keep that in mind if you want to save a few bucks by buying someone else's brand.
