I did a lot of research before buying these brakes for my suburb because we use them a lot on a 5500lb trailer with 6 people and all their stuff. That much weight can quickly heat up the brakes when towing in hilly terrain, and the last thing you want is brake fade in these conditions. Chevy's OEM brakes wore out VERY quickly from towing, so I wanted something that could outperform the OEM. Advertised as durable, these brakes combine reliable stopping power, excellent heat dissipation, low brake dust levels and no squeak problems. We've towed them once so far (about 300 miles) and driven about 2500 miles and they worked exactly as they should. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend it as a heavy duty upgrade.
